About Skelora
A games-market desk, online worldwide
Skelora exists because the games market throws off enormous amounts of data and almost no clarity. We are a small analytics desk that spends its days closing that gap.
Why we started
Anyone who makes or funds games knows the feeling: a launch chart here, a funding rumour there, a quarterly filing buried in a hundred pages, and no honest way to line them up. Studio leads guess at where the market is heading. Investors read press releases and hope. We thought the people making real decisions deserved something sharper than vibes — so we built the desk we wished we could subscribe to.
What we do
We track four things continuously: studios and teams, funding and deals, launches and performance, and the slower structural analysis that ties them together. Out of that come the dashboards, the Monday briefing and the quarterly report. The work is deliberately narrow. We would rather cover the games market well than cover everything badly.
How we work
Every number has a trail. We collect the primary signal, normalise it to make quarters and models comparable, and only then write the read. When something is an estimate, we say so. When the data cannot answer a question, we say that too. Being useful matters more to us than sounding certain, and admitting what we do not know is part of the job, not a weakness.
Who it is for
Studio leads planning a slate. Investors sizing a round. Analysts who need a defensible number by Friday. If your work depends on understanding where the games market actually is — not where a headline says it is — Skelora is built for you.
Where we are
We work online, worldwide, and reply within one working day. Come say hello on the contact page, or read the latest briefing to see how we think.
