How it works

From raw disclosure to a number you can defend

Analyst working at a bright desk with a laptop and handwritten strategy notes
Step 01Collect

Pull the primary signal

Filings, funding announcements, storefront metrics and platform disclosures — gathered daily, timestamped, and kept as the raw record so a claim can always be traced back.

Step 02Normalise

Make the numbers comparable

Currencies converted to USD, revenue models separated, one-off items stripped out. A live-service quarter and a premium launch stop looking like the same shape.

Step 03Interpret

Write the read

An analyst says what the data means and, just as often, what it does not. Every estimate is labelled as an estimate. We would rather be useful than certain.

Inside Skelora

A working desk, not a wire service

We are a distributed team that meets over the data every morning. Charts go up on the screen, someone argues the read, and only the version that survives the room ends up in your briefing.

The desk

Who reads the tape

A small team, online worldwide. No press-release rewriting — everyone here builds a model or defends a number.

Lead analystStudios & funding

The funding & studios desk

Tracks who raised, who hired, who quietly stopped hiring. Builds the studio watchlist and writes the deal notes that land in the Monday briefing.

AnalystLaunches & live-ops

The performance desk

Lives in concurrency and retention curves. Separates a strong launch week from a title that will actually hold players three months later.

AnalystPlatforms & structure

The structural desk

Owns the quarterly report — platform economics, revenue mix and the longer arguments that a single week of data can only hint at.

FAQ

Before you subscribe

Where does your data come from?+

Public filings, funding announcements, storefront and platform metrics, and our own tracking of studios and launches. Anything modelled or estimated is labelled as such — we do not dress an estimate up as a fact.

Are the numbers on this page real?+

No. Every figure and chart on this homepage is illustrative — a demonstration of the kind of views Pro members receive. Live dashboards carry sources and dates on every number.

Is this investment advice?+

It is not. Skelora is an information service about the games market. We publish data and analysis; decisions about money, hiring or strategy are yours to make with your own advisers.

What is the difference between Monthly and Annual?+

The same Pro access, priced two ways. Monthly is $39 and cancels any time. Annual is $390 — effectively two months free — and adds analyst office hours.

How and when do I pay?+

Not on this form. Send us your details and chosen plan; we confirm by email and arrange payment by invoice. We never ask for card numbers through the site.

Can I cancel?+

Yes. Monthly stops at the end of the current period; annual details are in our Refund Policy. Access to dashboards and reports is covered in Access & Delivery.
